![]() The person in question I could tell never bothered to read anything into it nor read the manual which does state it’s not “Study Level”.ĭean for as long as I’ve been here active in the forums has never insinuated, stated, hinted, claimed etc. The criticisms made were somewhat valid in some areas but very wrong in others. I watched half of a long YouTube video about this last night, not mentioning any names since I really don’t want people being vigilantes and storming their comments section. Worth the price? This is not something I can say as fact. It has a smoke feature which not every aircraft in real life has this feature, but in real life the F-16 does so why not have it in the sim? When pitching the aircraft up, there is no bounce or highly unrealistic animation such as apparent in 2 other aircraft, but not the F-16. This detail/feature is missing from at least 2 other military jets, but not in the F-16. When flying low over dirt, the F-16 kicks up dust. I should note when I am comparing the military aircraft, I am leaving out the payware F-22 as I do not own it therefor cannot comment on it. This attention to detail is missing from at least two other aircraft, but not in the F-16. When flying in 3rd person mode, if you have the afterburners on in the daytime, the brightness of the afterburners does not shine bright, however at nighttime it does. There are 2 military jets that do not have this detail, but the F-16 does. If you think about what would happen to landing gear flying at over 400 knots, this makes sense. You will not get a crash screen which I am glad, however you will not be able to retract your landing gear. If you fly and forget to retract the landing gear(which should be hard to not notice but distractions are a real thing), when you fly too fast, the landing gear will essentially “break”. While their previous aircraft have this realistic feature, there’s no reason the F-16 should not and it does. The F-16, not that I advise flying incorrectly, however it’s nice when developers “pay attention to detail” such as the landing gear. Also developers can and often do update aircrafts to fix and/or improve so if anyone has any critiques, speak with this in mind. It has it’s flaws, but every aircraft does and this sim is still very new so there are things to learn, as well as new tools that will come available. ![]() Feel part of the aircraft with our Advanced Systems Modeling (ASM).With many people getting access to this aircraft, some people might have unrealistic expectations or more than likely not enough time in the aircraft to fully appreciate it.Īs someone who some would feel I help a rival developer, I will say the F-16 is one of the better made military jets. Highly realistic mouse-interactive cockpit with 6-degrees of freedom. Multiple liveries for the United States Air Force and Air National Guard, Turkey, Greece, Israel, and others. These include specialized Targeting Pods (Litening pod and the AGM-88 HARM Targeting System (HTS). In the ground-attack role, the F-16C’s sophisticated targeting and aiming systems enable it to deliver a wide range of munitions with great accuracy. An advanced airframe and fly-by-wire system mean the Viper can pull 9g, while the F110-GE-129 engine powers it to a maximum speed of more than Mach 2.
